Nodding Beggar-ticks, also known as Nodding Bur-marigold (Bidens Cernua) is an annual forb in the Aster Family (Asteraceae). It’s native to North America, blooms Jul-Oct and grows 2-3 ft. It’s commonly found in wet prairies, swamps, wetlands and around ponds; tolerates seasonal standing water to dry soils and partial to full sun exposure.
