Bird’s-foot Trefoil (Lotus Corniculatus) is a perennial forb in the Pea Family (Fabaceae). It’s native to Eurasia and Africa, blooms Jun-Aug and grows 0.5-1.5 ft. It tolerates wet to dry soils and partial shade to full sun exposure.
Bird’s-foot Trefoil is a common weed in wetlands, swamps, wet prairies, moist meadows, wet fields and roadsides. It looks similar in appearance to clovers.
