Butterfly Bush, also known as Summer Lilac and Orange Eye (Buddleja Davidii [Buddleia Davidii]) is a shrub in the Figwort or Snapdragon Family (Scrophulariacea). It’s native to China and Japan, blooms Jul-Sep and grows 8-16 ft. It tolerates moist to dry soils and partial shade to full sun exposure.
