Horse Chestnut, also known as Conker Tree (Aesculus Hippocastanum) is a tree in the Soapberry Family (Sapindaceae). It’s native to Europe, blooms Apr-Jun and grows 50-110 ft. It’s commonly used as an ornamental tree in gardens, streets and parks; tolerates moist to dry soils and partial to full sun exposure.
Horse Chestnut can be found as a weedy tree in forests and savannas. Seed extract is used as an anti-inflammatory.
