Western Larkspur (Delphinium Menziesii) is a perennial forb in the Buttercup Family (Ranunculaceae). It’s native to British Columbia, Washington and Oregon. Blooms May-Jul and grows 3-4 ft. Commonly found in undisturbed Forests, in moist soils near creeks and river banks. Likes moist soils and partial shade/sun exposure.
Plant parts are considered poisonous. Flowers may look dark purple to blue in color.
